Select Flow Gallonage Nozzle (QLD6/8III)

I. Application.
QLD6/8III nozzle is used in extinguishing all kinds of fire, cooling fire field and protecting the life safety of fire fighters.

II. Preparation.
Preparation before operation.
1. Check the couplings connection between fire hose and nozzle.
2. Hand valve in open position.
3. Keep the flow rate options point to 2.5L/s position.
4. Turn rubber head to the left in straight stream pattern.
III. Operation method.
1. Nozzle should be working at 6 Bar in each flow rate option, otherwise will affect throw distance.
2. Adjust flow rate from 2.5 to 8 l/s gradually or do it according to the pump's volume.
3. Please adjust rubber head to spray pattern when cooling the temperature of fire field or protecting the safety of fire fighters.
And please close the hand valve gradually if you don't use nozzle. If close it too fast, it may cause a big recoil.
4. Put the flow rate to stream pattern when flow rate gets separated, then turn it back...
5. Fog pattern: Turn the rubber head to the right side, then adjust flow rate to 2.5, 4 or 5 l/s position.
6. Spray pattern: Turn the rubber head to the right side, then adjust flow rate to 6.5 or 8 position.
IV. Maintenance.
1. Drop the engine oil to the flow options every month in order to keep it spinning smoothly.
2. Please put kerosene to wash spinning or valve part when the part gets blocked.
Method: To move the blocked part and drop the kerosene in it at the same time.
V. Repair.
Please don't uninstall the nozzle when it is broken down or damaged. Just send it to factory or authorized places to repair.
